We are currently recruiting a Hygiene Operative to join our team at a busy meat production facility based in Burradon. This is a fantastic opportunity for a reliable and hardworking individual looking for stable back shift work, with the opportunity to secure a permanent contract.
The Role:
As a Hygiene Operative, you will play a vital role in maintaining high standards of cleanliness and food safety throughout the production facility.
Key Responsibilities:
Cleaning and sanitising production areas and equipment
Ensuring all hygiene standards are met in line with food safety regulations
Safe use of cleaning chemicals and equipment
Following strict health and safety procedures
Working effectively as part of a team to meet cleaning schedules

What We’re Looking For:
Previous cleaning or hygiene experience (ideally within food production, but not essential)
Strong attention to detail
Good understanding of health & safety
Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
Comfortable working in a chilled environment
