Central Employment Agency is recruiting Assembly Operatives for a leading automotive seating manufacturer renowned for high-quality standards and global excellence. This is an excellent long-term opportunity to join a fast-paced and supportive production team in Sunderland.

About the Role

As an Assembly Operative, you will be responsible for the manual assembly of front and rear vehicle seats, ensuring accuracy, quality, and consistency throughout the production process. Full training is provided, making this a suitable role for those looking to build manufacturing experience.

Key Duties

• Hands-on assembly work on a fast-paced production line
• Using hand tools and equipment safely and effectively
• Assembling and inspecting key automotive components
• Identifying, reporting, and preventing faults
• Maintaining high levels of quality and attention to detail

What We’re Looking For

• Previous assembly or manufacturing experience is beneficial but not essential
• Strong manual dexterity and practical skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• Reliable, punctual, and able to commit to overtime when required
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic

Pay and Benefits

• £13.26 per hour, increasing to £13.76 after 12 weeks
• Enhanced overtime rates available

Shift Pattern (Monday–Friday)

• Days: 6:42 AM – 3:00 PM
• Lates: 4:30 PM – 12:48 AM
