The Role

As an Industrial Sewing Machinist, you will be responsible for operating industrial sewing machines while maintaining high standards of product quality. You will be expected to work independently and take pride in the accuracy and finish of your work.

Key Responsibilities

• Operating industrial sewing machines
• Ensuring products meet required quality standards
• Carrying out quality checks
• Working unsupervised while maintaining productivity and accuracy

Requirements

Essential:

• Previous experience using sewing machines

Desirable (but not essential):

• Industrial sewing machine experience
• Previous factory or manufacturing experience
• Single needle lock stitching
• Over‑lock machining

Hours & Pay

Working Hours:

• Monday to Thursday: 8:00am – 5:00pm
• Friday: 8:00am – 1:00pm

Pay Rates:

• £12.71 per hour (basic hours)
• £19.06 per hour (weekend overtime)
