About the Role

We are currently recruiting for a Team Leader to join a busy food production facility based in Ashington. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced production operative or existing team leader looking to progress within a fast-paced food manufacturing environment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising a team on the production line, ensuring daily targets are met while maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and hygiene.

Key Responsibilities

• Leading and motivating a team of production operatives
• Ensuring production targets and deadlines are met
• Monitoring product quality and food safety standards
• Ensuring all Health & Safety and hygiene regulations are followed
• Supporting and training new team members
• Reporting any issues or downtime to management
• Maintaining a clean and organised work environment

Requirements

• Previous experience in a food production or manufacturing environment
• Prior supervisory or team leader experience preferred
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Good understanding of health, safety, and food hygiene practices
