Production Operative – Join Our Growing Team in Thirsk, North Yorkshire
Shift: 8:00am – 4:00pm, Monday to Friday
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: £13.00 – £14.00 per hour
We are looking for a reliable, motivated, and hardworking Production Operative to join our fast-paced manufacturing team. This permanent role provides stability, consistent hours, and excellent opportunities for long-term development. Both day and night shifts are available.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Mixing, weighing, packing, and labelling finished products
- Completing manual handling tasks (up to 25kg)
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and workplace safety
- Ensuring product quality and following company procedures
- Keeping work areas organised and following good housekeeping practices
What We’re Looking For
- Ability to work full-time hours
- Valid driving licence
- Fluent in spoken and written English
- Strong attention to detail and effective communication skills
- Ability to follow written instructions and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work well within a team
- Flexible and adaptable to changing workloads
- Good understanding of health, safety, hygiene, and quality standards (HACCP, GMP)
