Production Operative – Full-Time, Temporary

Shift: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Salary: £13.00 – £14.00 per hour
Location: Thirsk, North Yorkshire

About the Role

We’re looking for a motivated and reliable Production Operative to join our busy manufacturing site in Thirsk. This is a temporary, full-time position with the chance to gain valuable experience in a fast-paced environment. You’ll play a key role in ensuring our products meet the highest standards of quality and safety, with opportunities to work across both day and night shifts.

Key Responsibilities

• Mix, weigh, pack, and label finished goods accurately
• Carry out manual handling tasks (up to 25kg) safely
• Maintain excellent standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and workplace safety
• Ensure product quality and compliance with company procedures
• Keep work areas tidy and organized through good housekeeping practices

Essential Skills & Qualities

• Ability to commit to full-time hours
• Valid driving licence
• Fluent in spoken and written English
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Good communication skills and ability to follow written instructions/SOPs
• Team player with a proactive, self-motivated attitude
• Flexible and adaptable to changing demands
• Awareness of health, safety, hygiene, and quality standards (HACCP, GMP, etc.)
