A well‑established contract manufacturing provider is seeking several Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) Production Operatives to join the Manufacturing and Packaging team within its Veterinary Medicines (Pharmaceutical) Production Unit. The organisation supports a wide range of sectors, including pharmaceutical, agricultural, agrochemical, horticultural and fine chemical industries, and is recognised as a trusted partner for high‑quality ‘own label’ production.
This role offers an excellent opportunity to join a specialised team. While previous experience in a similar production environment is preferred, it is not essential. Strong attention to detail, the ability to follow instructions accurately, and confidence using operational systems are key. Full training on internal processes and systems will be provided.
Participate in all stages of the manufacturing and packaging process, including weighing, packing and labelling finished goods for dispatch.
Carry out a range of manual handling tasks, including lifting equipment and products weighing between 5kg and 20kg.
Maintain high standards of Good Manufacturing Practice, ensuring a safe, healthy, compliant and hygienic working environment.
Take responsibility for the cleanliness and organisation of your work area and contribute to overall site housekeeping.
Functional skills in English (fluent) and Maths.
Strong verbal and written communication skills with excellent attention to detail.
Ability to work effectively within a team, while also demonstrating initiative and self‑motivation.
Methodical and accurate approach to work.
Commitment to complying with GMP, VMD and MHRA regulations, including strict hygiene standards.
Responsibility for maintaining product quality and integrity in line with specifications.
High level of attention to detail and accuracy in data recording.
Ability to follow written instructions precisely.
Flexibility to meet the demands of the role.
Strong team‑working skills.
Willingness to learn and follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) as part of a highly specialised team.
