FLT Driver

About the job:
The role is to operate Counterbalance forklift Trucks in order to store, pick and despatch raw materials, packaging and finished goods to customer/supplier specific requirements. The candidate must have high attention to detail to ensure the products/materials they handle are to the correct safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Safe and efficient loading and unloading of vehicles 
  • Receiving and recording stock onto the warehouse management system, ensuring prompt communication of any issues to Line Manager as well as Team Leader.
  • Moving stock around the warehouse.
  • Order picking - making up orders ready for despatch.
  • Performing stock counts.
  • Working with colleagues to ensure a safe and efficient workspace.
  • General housekeeping.
Essential Requirements:
  • Must have an in-date Reach/Counterbalance Truck licence
  • Must have Warehouse experience
  • Ability to work as part of a team and also individually.
  • Need to be Flexible and proactive
Benefits:
  • 40hr working week
  • Salary paid weekly: £12.50per hour
  • Overtime available
