Production Operative – Full-Time
Shift: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Salary: £13.00 – £14.00 per hour
Location: Thirsk, North Yorkshire
About the Role:
We’re looking for a dedicated Production Operative to join our fast-paced manufacturing site in Thirsk. This is a permanent position offering stability and growth opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Mix, weigh, pack, and label finished goods
- Perform manual handling tasks (lifting up to 25kg)
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and workplace safety
- Ensure product quality and compliance with company procedures
- Keep work areas clean and follow good housekeeping practices
Essential Requirements:
- Ability to work full-time hours
- Must hold a valid driving licence
- Fluent in spoken and written English
- Excellent attention to detail
- Good communication skills
- Ability to follow written instructions and SOPs
- Team-oriented and self-motivated
- Flexible and adaptable to changing job demands
- Strong awareness of health, safety, hygiene, and quality standards (HACCP, GMP, etc.)
