Food Production Operative – Harrogate
Location: Harrogate
Pay Rate: £12.21 per hour
Shifts: Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM and 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM
(Flexibility to work both shifts is required)
About the Role:
We’re looking for reliable and hardworking Food Production Operatives to join a well-established food manufacturing business in Harrogate. This is a hands-on position in chilled and frozen environments, working with both raw and cooked meat products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work safely and efficiently to meet production targets
- Load raw products onto cooking plates in the low-risk area
- Follow all company procedures and guidelines
- Slice, weigh, pack, and label cooked products in the high-risk area
- Ensure all Critical Control Points (CCPs) are met and maintained
- Maintain food safety and cleanliness in full compliance with company standards
Requirements:
- Comfortable working in chilled environments
- Ability to perform in a fast-paced production setting
- Previous food production experience is beneficial but not essential
- Physically fit and able to stand for the duration of the shift
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Reliable, punctual, and a team player
- Must hold a valid driver’s licence
