Food Production Operative – Harrogate
Location: Harrogate
Pay Rate: £12.21 per hour
Shifts: Monday to Friday, 6:00am–2:00pm and 2:00pm–10:00pm (flexibility to work both shifts is required)
We are currently recruiting Food Production Operatives to join a well-established food production business in Harrogate. This is a hands-on role working in chilled and frozen environments, handling both raw and cooked meat products.
Key Responsibilities
- Work efficiently and safely to meet production targets
- Load raw products onto cooking plates in the low-risk area
- Follow all company procedures and guidelines
- Slice, weigh, pack, and label cooked products in the high-risk area
- Ensure all Critical Control Points (CCPs) are met and maintained
- Maintain food safety and cleanliness in full compliance with company procedures
Requirements
- Comfortable working in chilled environments
- Able to perform in a fast-paced production setting
- Previous experience in food production is beneficial but not essential
- Physically fit and able to stand throughout the shift
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Reliable, punctual, and a team-oriented attitude
- Must hold a valid driver’s license
