Production Operative

Job Description:

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Temporary Production Operative to join our team in Cramlington. The ideal candidate will have experience in production operations and warehouse activities, including picking and packing. Previous experience in food production is essential. Candidates must also be aware of PPE requirements and food hygiene rules. This is a physically demanding role that requires commitment and resilience.

Responsibilities:

Operate production line equipment efficiently and safely

Ensure quality control standards are met

Assist with warehouse tasks, including picking and packing orders

Maintain a clean and organized work environment

Follow safety protocols and procedures

Skills Required:

Experience in production operations and warehouse activities

Previous food production experience (essential)

Awareness of PPE and food hygiene regulations

Proficiency in picking and packing

Strong attention to detail and quality control

Reliability and punctuality

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Contract Type: Temporary

Working Hours: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM and 12:00 PM – 9:00 PM (rotating shifts)

Salary: £12.21 per hour
