Warehouse Operative – Picker/Packer (North Shields)
Central Employment is recruiting Warehouse Operatives to join a rapidly expanding online retailer based in North Shields. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in ensuring customers worldwide receive their orders accurately and on time.
Location: Third Ave, Tyne Tunnel Trading Estate, North Shields NE29 7UT
Pay Rate: £12.60 per hour
Shifts: 6:30am–2:00pm & 2:30pm–9:00pm (flexibility required)
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately pick and pack customer orders to meet daily targets
- Conduct quality checks to maintain product standards
- Use handheld scanners and inventory systems to track and locate stock
- Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment to meet deadlines
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure smooth warehouse operations
- Perform moderate to heavy lifting as part of daily duties
Candidate Requirements
- Strong attention to detail and reliability
- Effective teamwork and communication skills
- Physical stamina for repetitive tasks and lifting
- Previous warehouse or inventory experience is an advantage, but not essential – full training provided
