Cable Engineer – Subcontractor (CAT6A Installation)

Location: Dunfermline, Scotland

Rate: £18 p/h

Duration: 3-week project, with strong potential for future ongoing work

Hours:

Monday–Thursday: 7:30am – 4:00pm

Friday: 7:30am – 3:00pm

The Role

I’m recruiting on behalf of a leading data communications contractor, delivering high‑end installation work as they move into Phase 3 of a major project in Dunfermline.

We’re looking for an experienced Cable Engineer on a subcontract basis to carry out CAT 6A installations to a high professional standard. You’ll be joining an established team and contributing to a fast-paced, quality-focused environment.

What We’re Looking For

Strong experience in structured cabling, particularly CAT 6A

Ability to work to high installation and testing standards

Reliable, professional, and able to work independently as well as within a team

Valid ECS or CSCS card is essential
