Job Requirement for Hygiene Operative.

We are looking for a Hygiene Operative to join our team at our egg packing centre. You will play a key role in keeping the site clean, safe, and compliant with UK food safety standards, including BRCGS and the British Lion Code of Practice.

Shift Pattern.

Mon – Fri 1600 – 0100am (these timings are flexible and negotiable)

Job Type.

Full-time, Permanent

Key Duties:

Clean and sanitise egg packing equipment, machinery, and production areas
Carry out daily and deep cleaning to meet BRCGS and Lion Code standards
Safely use cleaning chemicals in line with COSHH guidelines
Follow strict hygiene, biosecurity, and health & safety procedures
Remove waste and broken eggs correctly
Complete cleaning records and hygiene checklists
Report any hygiene, safety, or pest control issues to supervisors

Able to follow hygiene and food safety procedures
Experience in food production or hygiene cleaning is desirable but not essential (training provided)
Pay and benefits.

Rate of Pay - £13.50 per hour
