Spray Painter

Location: Stockton-on-Tees

Pay Rate: £14.50 per hour (Overtime paid at time and a half)

The Opportunity

We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established structural engineering specialist and steelwork contractor based in Stockton. Due to continued growth, our client is looking to add experienced Spray Painters to their production team.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare steel components for painting, including cleaning, sanding, and masking

Apply paint coatings using spray equipment to required specifications

Ensure an even, high-quality finish on all products

Mix paints and coatings as required

Carry out inspections to ensure quality standards are met

Maintain spray equipment and ensure it is cleaned and functioning correctly

Work efficiently to meet production targets and deadlines

Maintain a clean and safe working environment

Follow all health & safety procedures, including correct use of PPE

Working Hours

Monday to Thursday: 6:00am – 4:40pm

Overtime available on:

Friday

Saturday

Sunday

Overtime paid at time and a half

What We’re Looking For

Previous experience in industrial spray painting (essential)

Experience working with steel or within an engineering/manufacturing environment preferred

Good attention to detail and commitment to quality

Knowledge of different coatings and application techniques

Reliable, hardworking, and a team player
